History of DFC Packaging Group of Companies

DFC Packaging had its foundations laid in 1982 when Robert Wilde joined DFC Equipment & Supplies Pty Ltd as a salesman of strapping machines. Robert worked his way up to become a Director of that company in 1987, to eventually buying out the packaging division in 1991 with his partner Ian Broadstock.

Since 1991, DFC Packaging Group has focused on quality shrink wrapping machinery and consumables. To cope with the increased demand Simon Martin was appointed Sales Director in 1998.

DFC then addressed the rapidly growing area of shrink sleeves, labels and tamper evident materials, and formed a joint venture operation with New Solid Corporation of Taiwan, a major player in the world market. The DFC sleeves division is now an important part of DFC's continued growth.
